Stationary dredgers
Damen Dredging Equipment designs and constructs the following types of stationery dredgers:

Cutter suction dredgers
The cutter suction dredgers built by Damen Dredging Equipment range from small ones transportable by truck, to large entirely containerised ones.
As a starting point the standard range cutter suction dredgers is used.
This range comprises a CSD250, CSD350, CSD450 and CSD500 - the numbers standing for the discharge diameter in mm.
Among the many advantages of this standard cutter suction dredger are the proven design, the short delivery times, the heavy construction and the wide range of options available.
Thus our standard dredger can become your "custom made" dredging tool.

Should your requirements be more specific we are always willing to design your "one-off" dredger, using the experience we gained over the past 60 years, having built over one hundred stationary dredgers.
 

Plain suction dredgers
The sand winning dredgers, i.e. with stone grid and jetwater nozzles in stead of a cutter head, are designed to achieve the highest possible output under your working conditions. This means for instance that the suction pipe can be equipped with:

A submersed dredge pump for more dredging depth
Extra jetwater to loosen the material
Etc.
As the dregder is designed for the job, the range we build varies form straightforward designs to state of the art deepwin dredgers for large contractors.

DOP® stationary dredgers
The DOP® dredger has been designed by Damen Dredging Equipment as a multifunctional dredging tool.
It is either a cutter suction dredger or a plain suction dredger which is equipped with a DOP® submersible dredge pump.
The DOP®pump can be attached to the boom of a crane or it can be lowered by a hoisting cable.

The DOP® can also be provided with a cutter unit and than attached to a fixed ladder.

The flexible design of the DOP® dredger has many advantages:
The dredger can be transported and put together easily as it consist of relatively small components
The dredger can be supplied as assembly package (for example pontoons built locally to a Damen
   Dredging Equipment design)
   This concept requires low investments and low transport costs

The DOP® is lowered to the required working depth
The submersed pump creates an optimal vacuum and
   guarantees a high solids content compared to an inboard
   dredge pump .The DOP® can be dismantled easily to be
   deployed elsewhere on for instance an excavator
On deck a similar pump can be placed working as a booster
   station. The pumps would need identical parts and are
   therefore easy to service.
