Marine fenders and offshore fenders are applied for mooring ships to quay walls, jetties and ship to ship. These fenders are necessary to protect the mooring facilities and the ship for damage. Rubber products are mainly used as fenders installed at the mooring sites.

These port and marine fenders are installed by their specific dock equipments.
For big ships and to overcome tidal variations flat board / shield fenders are applied. These fenders are a combination of fenders; such as Arch fenders, cell fenders, cone fenders or W / IV / IVM / DDA fenders with a shield with PE pads.
For ship to ship mooring protection mostly floating pneumatic fenders are used.
Also in the offshore industry these pneumatic fenders are widely applied.
