A complete range of hydraulically operated rubber ring valves is available.

The range includes low, medium and high pressure dredge valves, which are all especially designed for the tough working conditions encountered when mounted in suction and discharge pipe lines of dredges.

The low-pressure dredge valve, type HRA, is used at a max. delta p of 6 bar.
The valves, provided with wear resistant replaceable slide sealing rings and divided with an upper and lower casing for easy maintenance, can usually be delivered from stock.

Of course class approval of for instance Lloyd's or Bureau Veritas can be arranged.

The main construction details are as follows :

The medium pressure range valves have a max. pipe line pressure of 10 bars, and the high pressure ones of 16 bars.

These dredge valves, type DGV, are of a similar construction as the low pressure HRA-ones, yet their designs are adapted and optimised for their higher pressure use.

Damen dredge valves thus ensure efficient and cost effective flow control.
